Athletic dog interrupts Argentinian soccer game

Sept. 19 (UPI) -- A scrappy dog brought a soccer game in Argentina to a halt after rushing onto the field to get into the action.

TyC sports shared video Monday of the energetic pup trying to dribble the ball down the field with its head during the second half of the Argentinian Superliga match between San Lorenzo and Arsenal di Sarandi.

The dog stole possession of the soccer ball and continued to tirelessly track it down, as players and security attempted to wrangle it away.

Eventually arena staff brought out a second ball to occupy the dog's attention and eventually carried it away from the field where it gave a spirited interview.
