NBA legend Shaquille ONeal plows defender in Boston gym

May 19 (UPI) -- Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal made a pitch to big-man needy NBA teams Thursday during a pick-up game in Boston at Reebok corporate headquarters.

O'Neal posted a video on social media capturing the Los Angeles Lakers legend dominating much smaller and less experienced defenders. He was playing in an unorganized game against Reebok's corporate staff.

In the footage, Shaq receives a pass near the paint. He ducks down his left shoulder into a defender, who is giving up at least two feet in height. O'Neal then pushes off with his huge right arm, sending the overmatched opposition flying off the basketball court. Shaq then stands up and stuffs in a dunk with two hands.

"Any team who needs a big man, 100 million for 3 years #taxfree #notanoffensivefoul @albenz11 @reebokclassics #rebokclassics," O'Neal wrote on his social media posts.

O'Neal, 45, played eight season for the Los Angeles Lakers, winning three consecutive NBA championships. He joined the Miami Heat in 2004, winning another title in 2006. He began his career playing three seasons for the Orlando Magic and spent his last three seasons with the Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics. The 1999 NBA MVP made nearly $300 million in salary on the court during his Hall of Fame career, but was a huge success off the court with many lucrative endorsement deals.

He now works as an NBA analyst for TNT.
